Nano coatings can reduce the risk of transmitting infectious diseases
We live in a hectic time and spend most of our time indoors. We are often tired, weakened, sleepy, our headache, our eyes burning, and our immune system becoming weakened. So we are more susceptible to viruses and bacteria that attack us from all sides.
We are most at risk where there is a higher incidence of people at once – for example, in waiting rooms of surgeries, but also in large office complexes, shopping malls, airport halls, restaurants, canteens, urban transport and many other areas.
Contrary to popular belief, the air we breathe in buildings is up to eight times more polluted than outdoors – yet we spend 85% of our time indoors.
Recent studies indicate that some pollutants may exist at higher concentrations indoors than outdoors. Indoor air is often exhaled and still contains many impurities such as dust, pollen and other mechanical particles, as well as bacteria, viruses, fungi and other microorganisms (spread by air conditioning and air conditioning ), even toxic volatile substances (air fresheners, smoking, formaldehyde) – furniture, floor coverings, coatings, etc.). Asbestos, benzene, toluene, phthalates and other emollients, as well as other combustion products, can be found in the cocktail of pollutants we have mixed in buildings.
This situation is unfavorable, but there is a solution, thanks to special functional nanofinishers FN NANO ® , which among other things can actively purify the air of various toxic substances, molds, viruses, bacteria and odors. The surface of the interior walls of buildings’ interiors can be transformed into a two-dimensional, low-cost, low-noise and practically maintenance-free air purifier that requires little light energy to operate.
Functional coatings FN ® can provide a safer and healthier environment both in areas with larger numbers of people and in your home, school facilities and homes for the elderly. They are also a new, promising technology to increase the level of protection of patients and health care staff against resistant strains of dangerous bacteria and the spread of infections. They are used to remove unpleasant odors and purify the air from dangerous substances.
The most recent example is the spread of coronavirus, whose size is about 100-130 nanometers. This virus is much smaller than typical bacteria and is difficult to filter out even with the best surgical masks, which usually work up to 300 nanometers. One way to prevent the spread of viruses is to break them down at the molecular level, and this is what NANO ® nano coatings can do . As soon as the virus touches a painted surface that is activated by soft UVA light, it is decomposed by photocatalysis.
The functions of the self-cleaning coating FN NANO ® are based on a clean and environmentally friendly physical method – photocatalysis . This technology can remove contaminants and harmful microparticles from the air , works without chemicals and one application lasts 10 years or more.
Thanks to this technology we are already able to improve our air and improve our life. It is the most effective patented coating in the world by the Czech scientist from Ing. Jan Procházka Ph.D.
